Case's Pork Roll Store provides shipping by UPS and USPS. USPS Priority Mail delivers in 2-3 days and is less costly than UPS, but is not guaranteed 2-3 day delivery as is UPS.
From March 15 through June and September (we are closed during July and August), we ship all packages in reusable, insulated materials (included in shipping charges). Pork Roll is not as perishable as other meat products because it is hickory smoked, however; when you receive your order, it should be kept refrigerated.
When you place an order, the shipping address should be an address where someone will be home to accept your order. If your order is a gift, we strongly recommend that you notify the recipient to expect the delivery on the date specified at completion of your order.
Orders must be received by Friday, 12 noon EST for your shipment to go out the following week.
USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate fees — Priority Mail through the United States Post Office offers a Flat Rate fee which is a more economical rate for shipping. If you want to use United States Postal Service (USPS) Flat Rate shipping, follow instructions when you place your order on the ordering page.
UPS uses their own discretion whether or not to leave packages at your home if you are unavailable to accept your delivery.
UPS WILL NOT leave packages if you live in an apartment, condo, etc. It is important that someone be present when the package arrives at the delivery address. Case's Pork Roll Store will not be responsible for any spoilage of pork roll if no one is available to accept your delivery when the first delivery attempt is made!!
UPS WILL NOT DELIVER TO PO BOX ADDRESSES. Please give a actual street address for your shipping information.
When you enter your order on the Case's Pork Roll Store Shopping Cart, choose your shipping method in the drop-down menu. All shipping charges include handling costs (insulated materials) during the months of March—June and September. Since pork roll is considered a perishable item, please choose the shipping method that is recommended by Case’s Pork Roll Store to ensure prompt delivery of your order.
After you place your order, you will receive a confirmation acknowledging receipt of your order. Case's Pork Roll Store will also send an e-mail confirmation indicating when your package will be shipped. Please be sure that you do not have a block on your e-mail account to prevent incoming e-mails from Case’s Pork Roll Store. If you have a block on your e-mail, you will not receive any shipping information from us.
Your credit card will be charged at the time you place your order.
During the month of June (and some locations during September), all orders will be shipped frozen, but may not arrive frozen. We do not recommend re-freezing pork roll. If you do not want your order shipped frozen, choose overnight delivery. When you click on our Ordering Page, we recommend choosing either UPS Overnight or USPS Express Mail during Checkout for shipping non-frozen orders.
